Characters
Raymond is our main protagonist, a wooden puppet made from the King's Legacy known as the tree of light found the forest of beginning and end. Raymond is a very curious character which sometimes can get him in trouble with his comrades and the people around him. After the kingdom of Cideria is attacked by Hades' army, and his maker/father is killed in the process. Raymond flees Cideria and runs into Melody and Danny. that is when his journey begins

Danny
Danny is another of the books protagonist, He runs into Raymond and Melody whilst they are in the Kingdom of Tutisani, lost in the forest of wonder. Danny has the ability to fly which often proves to be very useful to the group. He classes himself as a leader of the lost and tries to take Raymond on as his subordinate, however decides that he decides that he wishes to travel across Terra-Nova and see the wonders of this world.
Melody
Melody is our main female protagonist, she meets Raymond when he is traveling to the Kingdom of Tutisani, she is a stowaway on the ship who, like Raymond, is also running away from Hades' evil army. She tends to have a good sense of direction and is a very good judge of character who ends up saving the group of heroes a number of times.
